The Modi government is committed to ensuring the social security and well-being of workers across the country. Through the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), millions of workers and their families are receiving essential benefits, including medical treatment and financial support.

In December 2024 alone, 17.01 lakh new workers were enrolled in ESIC, gaining access to healthcare and other social security benefits.

A total of 8.22 lakh workers received medical treatment under ESIC facilities, while 3.26 lakh workers benefited from medical allowances, ensuring financial relief during health-related challenges.

Over the years, the government’s proactive efforts have led to more than 14 crore workers joining ESIC, strengthening the safety net for employees across various industries.

By expanding healthcare access and financial support, the government continues to safeguard the rights and well-being of workers, reinforcing its commitment to a secure and prosperous workforce.
