On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, met and conveyed our warm wishes to Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan Ji at Raj Bhavan along with my wife.

Was anguished to learn about the boycott of Ugadi celebrations, hosted by the Hon’ble Governor, by TRS legislators and ministers.

Ugadi is one of the most important Telugu festivals and is not linked to any political party. It must be celebrated by one and all, in unity. I condemn the unruly behaviour of the TRS leaders in politicising and insulting the Office of Hon’ble Governor.
