Dharmapuri Arvind, the current Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha from Nizamabad, Telangana, has been actively involved in both politics and philanthropy over the past few years.

As part of the election campaign in Nizamabad constituency, BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind is organizing a ‘Chai Pe Charcha‘ program to connect with the public and discuss important issues. Arvind is highlighting that the BJP stands apart by refraining from making false promises, unlike other political parties.

Political Career

• Election Victory: In the 2019 general elections, Arvind Dharmapuri made headlines by defeating former TRS MP K. Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Notably, he defeated a world record 184 candidates from the Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency.

• Spices Board Regional Centre: Arvind played a key role in establishing a regional Centre of the Spices Board in Nizamabad. This center aims to provide necessary assistance to turmeric farmers, offering them relief.

• Committee Positions: He currently holds the position of Member of the Standing Committee on Commerce and is also part of the consultative committee for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Philanthropy

The Arvind Dharmapuri Foundation (ADF), founded in 2012 by Arvind Dharmapuri, aims to rescue critically ill children dependent on financial support for survival. ADF collaborates with corporate CSR initiatives to enhance education in 350 government schools and partners with Nizamabad’s Gurudatta Vatsyalya Nilayam orphanage. ADF has championed over 200 diverse critical cases annually and includes the ADF Welfare Fund, which uplifts families of Nizamabad Parliament Segment Booth Level Committee Members.
