Central Cabinet approves incentive scheme related to production of textile.

* Incentive of Rs 10,683 crore will be provided in five years.

* New investment of more than 19,000 crore rupees will be there in five years.

* Additional production of more than Rs 3 lakh crore will be turnover in five years.

* The scheme will create more than 7.5 lakh direct and many lakh indirect employment opportunities.

* More priority for investment in aspiring districts and Tier 3-4 cities.

* The scheme will also pave the way for the participation of women in large numbers.
