Arvind Dharmapuri strongly condemned the brutal attack on BJP MP Shri Khagen Murmu, a respected tribal leader and two-time parliamentarian from North Malda, by TMC goons. Shri Khagen Murmu was traveling to Nagrakata in Jalpaiguri district to assist in relief and rescue operations after the region was severely affected by rains, floods, and landslides. Such violent acts against public representatives engaged in humanitarian work reflect a disturbing decline in democratic values. Shri Arvind Dharmapuri called for strict action against the perpetrators and reaffirmed solidarity with Shri Murmu and the people of West Bengal.
