On June 29, 2025, Nizamabad will witness a historic celebration of perseverance and progress — the Kisan Maha Sammelan, an expression of collective gratitude to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji for making the National Turmeric Board a reality. The event, to be held at the Polytechnic College Grounds at 1:30 PM, marks the fulfillment of a 40-year-long dream of turmeric farmers across the region.
