BJP Launches ‘Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo’ Campaign in Telangana

The ‘Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo’ campaign, launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of its Foundation Day celebrations, is a three-day initiative aimed at connecting with people directly, propagating the party’s programmes, and engaging with local communities across Telangana.

Led by party state General Secretary K. Venkateshwarlu, the campaign involves top BJP leaders visiting various areas to meet at least 10 beneficiaries of Central Welfare schemes in each locality. Additionally, the program includes conducting a Swachchata (cleanliness) drive at local health centres or temples and organizing booth committee meetings to strengthen grassroots engagement.

As part of the Gaon Chalo – Basti Chalo program, Arvind Dharmapuri interacted with the people in Madhav Nagar, located on the outskirts of Nizamabad city. It was a productive session where community concerns and future development were discussed. Along with him, BJP District President Sri Dinesh Kulachari garu, local ex-corporator Pramod garu, and other BJP leaders and activists participated in the campaign.

This three-day initiative reflects the BJP’s commitment to reaching out to every corner of the region, ensuring that people are informed about government welfare schemes, and addressing the challenges they face in their daily lives.
