We witnessed the Congress-BRS camaraderie on full display in Chennai. Their facade of opposing each other in the state is ultimately a ploy to merge in pursuit of Muslim appeasement.

Despite being fully aware of the bill’s transparent intent — to help not only poor and backward Muslims but also other minorities and Hindus — BRS voted against it solely to reinforce appeasement politics.

The impending and obvious BRS-Congress alliance, driven by a singular motive of vote-bank politics, can compromise the well-being and safety of Hindus and non-Muslim minorities.
