India’s first fully indigenous 32-bit microprocessor, Vikram-32 (Vikram 3201), has been unveiled at Semicon India 2025—a landmark “Made in Bharat” achievement in semiconductor innovation. Developed by ISRO’s Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), Chandigarh, and designed for the demanding environments of space launch vehicles, Vikram-32 stands as a bold step toward defence and aerospace self-reliance.
