Nizamabad MP Shri Arvind Dharmapuri stated that fields in several areas have been left devastated, with mud, sand, and soil deposits choking farmlands after the recent heavy rains. He emphasized that the State Government must act immediately to clear the sand and soil accumulated in farmers’ fields and provide compensation of ₹50,000 per acre without delay. The MP reiterated that farmers cannot afford to wait for prolonged surveys or delayed responses, as their livelihoods are at stake. Swift action is critical to restore cultivable land and protect the interests of those who feed the nation.
