New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon’s Holi Celebration Video Resurfaces Ahead of India Visit

As India celebrates Holi, a video of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon playing with colors at ISKCON Auckland has resurfaced online. The February video shows Luxon using a cloud gulal cylinder to throw color on a cheering crowd.

Luxon will visit India from March 16 to 20, marking his first trip as Prime Minister. He will meet PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi on March 17 to discuss trade, defense, and people-to-people ties. He will also meet President Droupadi Murmu and visit Mumbai before returning to Wellington.

Accompanied by ministers, business leaders, and diaspora members, Luxon’s visit highlights strong India-New Zealand ties. The MEA stated, “This reaffirms both nations’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and deepening people-to-people ties.”

Luxon, an admirer of India, previously said, “I am a big fan of India… It’s a country I love, admire tremendously.”
