Under the proactive leadership of MP Arvind Dharmapuri, Navodaya classes are set to begin this academic year in Nizamabad and Jagitial districts, following approval from the central government for two Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in the Nizamabad parliamentary area. Arvind Dharmapuri’s timely intervention urged Navodaya officials to initiate classes without delay, despite ongoing preparations. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Committee has directed Deputy Commissioner Gopalakrishna to expedite the necessary arrangements for permanent and temporary facilities. Permanent school construction is planned at Kaligot village, Jakranpalli Mandal, with 30 acres allocated for the purpose, while temporary accommodation will be provided at the Government DIET College premises in Nagaram. Efforts are underway to ensure roads, water, electricity, and telecom services are in place for both sites. Additionally he has also sanctioned ₹20 lakh from his funds for these necessary repairs, a gesture warmly appreciated by the local community. This marks a major step forward for quality education in the region.
