Inaugurated on July 27 in Waddhamna village, Nagpur, India’s first AI-powered anganwadi is revolutionising early education. Funded with ₹9.5 lakh from the Zilla Parishad’s CESS fund, the centre uses VR headsets, AI-enabled smart boards, and tablets to teach poems, songs, and foundational concepts. Enrolment has jumped from 10 to over 25 children, bridging the digital divide and bringing world-class learning tools to rural Maharashtra — a step in line with PM Narendra Modi’s vision for Digital India.
