FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO STATES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS
Rs 8,923 crore released to Panchayats in 25 states as untied grants.
- Released 2nd monthly instalment of Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant of Rs 9,871 crore for the year 2021-22 to 17 states.
- Advance payment of Rs 8873.6 crore, 1st instalment of the Central Share of the SDRF for the year 2021-22, to all the states.
- Additional amount of upto Rs 15,000 crore provided to States as interest free 50-year loan for capital expenditure
